I highly recommend this course to anyone working with aging adults! I am a fitness professional working with clients living with Parkinson's, and was drawn to this course so I can help them avoid injuries when unavoidable falls occur. It did not disappoint - Naomi is an excellent instructor, and presented a treasure trove of valuable resources that can be applied immediately. I especially loved the videos she included of her patients learning the techniques in real time - seeing how she earned their trust and progressed them through the training was so helpful. Her thoughtful approach will definitely inform my work going forward.

This course taught me I could do so much more to help my patients with balance and falls. Functional Movement and Falls Training does a wonderful job of giving the clinician tons of examples of ways to implement the principles directly into your clinic the next day. I would recommend this course to any PT working in the neurologic population. Nate Coomer - USA

“One of the biggest takeaways for me was considering the different directions of falls and the various ways to approach teaching them. I walked away with more than I expected and kept thinking of ways this could be integrated right into practice. This is the kind of course that gives you things you can actually start using right away. JJ Mowder-Tinney - USA

About the Creator

Hello, I'm Naomi Casiro, a physiotherapist with years of experience spent mastering the art of teaching safe falling techniques to older adults and neuro populations. Throughout my career, I've seen how impactful the right type of movement training can be - not just on mobility but on confidence, independence, and quality of life. I started Neurofit Academy because I can only teach so many courses in person, and I wanted both healthcare professionals and those at risk of falls to have access to this type of specialized practical training. I hope you'll join me on this journey to enhance your skills and change the way you think about bringing falls treatment to your patients.
